Different parts of the world struggled to cope and adjust to the effects of the Great Depression as the fallout from the Black Tuesday would slowly settle. Some communities would get swept up in dust bowls and be lost as ghost towns as people migrated away. Other communities would just manage to survive the challenges of the long decade. Mission was a different story. This project looks to highlight how the decade of the Great Depression was one of relative growth for Missions population, infrastucture and community compared to much of the suffering in other places.
